January 17, 2019: San Tan Valley, AZ 85140 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Combs Coyotes (San Tan Valley, AZ) and the visiting Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ), saw Combs's basketball squad overcome Apache Junction by a tally of 43-34.
With the victory, Combs improves its record to 10-11 on the campaign. The Coyotes host Dysart (El Mirage, AZ) to confront the Demons in a 4A Black Canyon challenge on Tuesday, January 22. The Demons come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Dysart won 49-20 in their recent league challenge against Cortez (Phoenix, AZ)
Next up, the Prospectors confront the Washington Rams (Phoenix, AZ) in a 4A Black Canyon challenge, on Tuesday, January 22. Apache Junction will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 2-11 record after their 46-38 league loss to Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ).
