The Franklin Lions routed the visiting Troy Trojans basketball team by a final score of 76-45 in Saturday's league game.

In their next game, the Lions face the C.H. Yoe Yoemen (Cameron, TX) in a 3A Region III District 19 game, on Tuesday, December 18. Franklin will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Yoemen enter the game with a 3-9 record after their 50-33 league loss to Rogers (Rogers, TX).

With the defeat, Troy moves to 4-1 on the year. The Trojans travel to Little River Academy (Little River Academy, TX) to face the Bumblebees in a 3A Region III District 19 game on Tuesday, December 18.
