In Friday's non-league game, the Eden Prairie Eagles (Eden Prairie, MN) football team knocked off the visiting Prior Lake Lakers (Prior Lake, MN), by a final score of 35-12.

The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Wayzata (Plymouth, MN). The Trojans come into the Metro - West game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Wayzata toppled Edina (Edina, MN), 23-0, in a league game.

The Lakers now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Minnetonka for a non-league game on Friday, September 21. Prior Lake will battle a Skippers team coming off a 35-16 league loss to Maple Grove (Maple Grove, MN). The Skippers record now stands at 2-1.
