The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Capital Cougars (Charleston, WV) and the visiting Parkersburg Big Reds (Parkersburg, WV), observed Capital's football squad defeat Parkersburg by a count of 35-13.

The Cougars now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Cabell Midland for a Mountain State contest on Friday, September 27. Capital will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 20-16 league win over Hurricane (Hurricane, WV). The Knights record now stands at 4-0.
