North Carolina High School Basketball - The Burlington School fells High Point Central

December 29, 2018: High Point, NC 27262

The Burlington School Spartans (Burlington, NC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), 64-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, The Burlington School upgrades its record to 12-0 on the season. The Spartans travel to Grace Christian (Sanford, NC) to clash with the Crusaders in a NCISAA Mid-Carolina bout on Friday, January 4. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 12-3. Grace Christian won 52-12 in their recent non-league bout against Rocky Mount Academy (Rocky Mount, NC)

Next up, the Bison clash with the Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 3. High Point Central will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 53-33 non-league win over Jordan-Matthews (Siler City, NC).
