Nebraska High School Basketball - Winnebago can't hold off Pender
January 28, 2016: Winnebago, NE 68071 The Pender Pendragons basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Winnebago Indians to 49 in the Pendragons non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Pendragons now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bancroft-Rosalie for a non-league contest on Friday, January 29. Pender will battle a Panthers team coming off a 70-60 non-league win over Winnebago (Winnebago, NE). The Panthers record now stands at 6-10.
The Indians (5-15) will now prepare for their contest against Plainview (Plainview, NE). The Pirates enter the C2 District 9 contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Plainview was nudged by Randolph (Randolph, NE), 40-32, in a league contest.
