Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Millwood Bobcats (Midlothian, VA), 84-71 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Blue Ridge upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Barons travel to Varsity Opponent (, ) to clash with the in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The go into the bout with a record of 75-268. Varsity Opponent lost 71-30 in their recent non-league bout against Cornerstone Christian Academy (St. Clair, MO)

Next up, the Bobcats clash with the Christ Chapel Academy (Woodbridge, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Millwood will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 81-68 non-league loss to Central Virginia Disciples (Richmond, VA).
