March 29, 2019: Maplewood, NJ 07040 Columbia Cougars (Maplewood, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Parsippany Hills Vikings (Parsippany, NJ), 5-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Columbia upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to Verona (Verona, NJ) to battle the Hillbillies in a Super Essex - American test on Monday, April 1. The Hillbillies come into the test with a record of 0-0.
With the defeat, Parsippany Hills falls to 0-1 on the season. The Vikings host Mount Olive (Flanders, NJ) to battle the Marauders in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 3. The Marauders come into the test with a record of 1-2. Mount Olive lost 8-3 in their recent league test against West Morris Central (Chester, NJ)
