Wisconsin High School Softball - Assumption tipped by Slinger
April 6, 2019: Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494 The Slinger Owls softball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Assumption Royals to 5 in the Owls non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Slinger improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Owls host Whitefish Bay (Whitefish Bay, WI) to clash with the Blue Dukes in a North Shore game on Monday, April 8. The Blue Dukes come into the game with a record of 1-2. Whitefish Bay lost 13-6 in their recent league game against Homestead (Mequon, WI)
In their next game, the Royals clash with the Stevens Point Panthers (Stevens Point, WI) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 9. Assumption will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 2-0 record after their 11-2 league win over Marshfield (Marshfield, WI).
