Knox Redskins (Knox, IN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Wheeler Bearcats (Valparaiso, IN), 58-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Knox upgrades its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Redskins host South Central (Union Mills, IN) to face the Satellites in a non-league game on Saturday, February 17. The Satellites enter the game with a record of 5-14. South Central won 65-48 in their recent non-league game against Culver Community (Culver, IN)

With the defeat, Wheeler moves to 10-12 on the year. The Bearcats host Hobart (Hobart, IN) to face the Brickies in a non-league game on Friday, February 23. The Brickies enter the game with a record of 11-10. Hobart lost 54-31 in their recent non-league game against Merrillville (Merrillville, IN)
