New York High School Football - Archbishop Stepinac smashes Holy Cross
October 1, 2016: White Plains, NY 10605 The Archbishop Stepinac Crusaders (White Plains, NY) football routed the visiting Holy Cross Knights (Flushing, NY), 42-7 in Saturday's league bout.
In their next game, the Crusaders clash with the St. Anthony's Friars (Melville, NY) in a Catholic AAA bout, on Friday, October 7. Archbishop Stepinac will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Friars enter the bout with a 2-2 record after their 23-6 league win over St. Peter's (Staten Island, NY).
The Knights (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Chaminade (Mineola, NY). The Flyers enter the Catholic AAA bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Chaminade walloped Monsignor Farrell (Staten Island, NY), 24-16, in a league bout.
