Connecticut High School Lacrosse - Wilbur Cross drops to Branford
May 1, 2019: New Haven, CT 06511 Branford Hornets (Branford, CT) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Wilbur Cross Governors (New Haven, CT), 18-1 in a league test.
The Hornets now have a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they host Law for a Southern Connecticut test on Monday, May 6. Branford will face a Lawmen squad coming off a 15-1 league loss to Foran (Milford, CT). The Lawmen record now stands at 3-6.
In their next game, the Governors face the Vinal RVT Hawks (Middletown, CT) in a non-league test, on Thursday, May 2. Wilbur Cross will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record.
