The Steele Canyon Cougars topped the host Venice Gondoliers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Cougars now have a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Corona for a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. Steele Canyon will confront a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to University City (San Diego, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-5.

The Gondoliers (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA). The Dolphins enter the Western test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Palisades was knocked off by Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
