California High School Baseball - Los Gatos holds off Leigh

Los Gatos Wildcats (Los Gatos, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA), 5-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Los Gatos upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Mountain View (Mountain View, CA) to battle the Spartans in a De Anza test on Wednesday, April 18. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 9-7. Mountain View won 7-5 in their recent league test against Milpitas (Milpitas, CA)

With the defeat, Leigh falls to 9-8 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA) to battle the Saints in a Mount Hamilton test on Wednesday, April 18. The Saints come into the test with a record of 3-11. Santa Teresa lost 8-5 in their recent league test against Live Oak (Morgan Hill, CA)
