In Friday's non-league contest, the Riverton Parke Panthers (Montezuma, IN) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Greencastle Tiger Cubs (Greencastle, IN), by a margin of 14-4.

With the triumph, Riverton Parke moves its record to 9-8 on the year. The Panthers travel to Covington (Covington, IN) to play the Trojans in a Wabash River contest on Saturday, May 4. The Trojans come into the contest with a record of 8-7. Covington lost 12-6 in their recent league contest against Seeger (West Lebanon, IN)

In their next game, the Tiger Cubs play the Living Water Homeschool Marlins (Indianapolis, IN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, May 4. Greencastle will attempt to move on its 1-14 season record. The Marlins come into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 17-1 non-league win over Traders Point Christian (Whitestown, IN).
