The Lake Central Indians softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting LaPorte Slicers to 0 in the Indians league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Lake Central moves its record to 21-1 on the year. The Indians travel to Cathedral (Indianapolis, IN) to clash with the Fighting Irish in a non-league game on Saturday, May 11. The Fighting Irish come into the game with a record of 16-5.

In their next game, the Slicers clash with the Valparaiso Vikings (Valparaiso, IN) in a Duneland game, on Thursday, May 9. LaPorte will attempt to move on its 13-8 season record. The Vikings come into the game with a 9-8 record after their 11-0 league loss to Crown Point (Crown Point, IN).
