Bishop Kearney Kings (Rochester, NY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Amherst Central Tigers (Amherst, NY), 70-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bishop Kearney upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season.

Next up, the Tigers play the Williamsville East Flames (East Amherst, NY) in a Section 6 Erie County II bout, on Monday, February 5. Amherst Central will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record.
