Illinois High School Football - Bremen succumbs to Oak Forest
September 29, 2006: Oak Forest, IL 60452 Oak Forest Bengals (Oak Forest, IL) supporters exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the visiting Bremen Braves (Midlothian, IL), 27-14 in a league challenge.
The Bengals now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tinley Park for a South Suburban - Blue challenge on Friday, October 6. Oak Forest will clash with a Titans squad coming off a 49-7 league loss to Lemont (Lemont, IL). The Titans record now stands at 2-4.
With the defeat, Bremen moves to 4-2 on the campaign. The Braves host Shepard (Palos Heights, IL) to battle the Astros in a South Suburban - Blue test on Friday, October 6. The Astros come into the test with a record of 1-5. Shepard lost 28-12 in their recent league test against Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL)
