In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Cardinal O'Hara Hawks basketball team scored a good 72-57 triumph over the Amherst Central Tigers.

In their next game, the Hawks face the Mount Mercy Academy Magic (Buffalo, NY) in a Monsignor Martin match, on Tuesday, March 2. Cardinal O'Hara will attempt to move on its 10-0 season record. The Magic enter the match with a 1-6 record after their 76-38 league loss to St. Mary's (Lancaster, NY).
