North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Independence drops to Providence
March 20, 2019: Charlotte, NC 28270 In Wednesday's league test, the host Providence Panthers lacrosse squad scored a good 17-0 victory over the Independence Patriots.
The Panthers now have a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Stephens for a non-league test on Friday, March 22. Providence will face a Indians squad coming off a 20-1 league win over Watauga (Boone, NC). The Indians record now stands at 5-1.
In their next game, the Patriots face the Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) in a Conference 15 test, on Monday, March 25. Independence will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Pirates come into the test with a 1-6 record after their 12-6 non-league loss to Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC).
