Arizona High School Basketball - Mesquite crushes Saguaro

Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ), 83-60 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mesquite upgrades its record to 16-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ) to play the Sentinels in a 4A Desert Sky bout on Tuesday, January 29. The Sentinels come into the bout with a record of 18-6. Seton Catholic won 74-8 in their recent league bout against Poston Butte (San Tan Valley, AZ)

Next up, the Sabercats play the Arcadia Titans (Phoenix, AZ) in a 4A Desert Sky bout, on Tuesday, January 29. Saguaro will attempt to upgrade on its 8-13 season record. The Titans come into the bout with a 16-8 record after their 46-37 non-league win over Coconino (Flagstaff, AZ).
