The West Charlotte Lions basketball team (Charlotte, NC), dropped 74-66 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC)

The Patriots now possess a 27-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ardrey Kell for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 24. Independence will confront a Knights team coming off a 71-59 non-league win over Grimsley (Greensboro, NC). The Knights record now stands at 23-5.
