Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Cambria Heights knocked off by Penn Cambria
January 11, 2018: Cresson, PA 16630 The Penn Cambria Panthers basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Cambria Heights Highlanders to 57 in the Panthers league triumph on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forest Hills for a Laurel Highlands 1 contest on Saturday, January 13. Penn Cambria will meet a Rangers team coming off a 64-57 league win over Bishop Carroll (Ebensburg, PA). The Rangers record now stands at 8-3.
The Highlanders (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Guilfoyle (Altoona, PA). The Marauders enter the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Bishop Guilfoyle ran past Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA), 78-51, in a league contest.
