Georgia High School Basketball - Jordan ripped by Marion County
December 28, 2018: Columbus, GA 31904 The Marion County Eagles basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Jordan Red Jackets to 36 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hardaway for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 29. Marion County will battle a Hawks team coming off a 55-43 non-league loss to Auburn (Auburn, AL). The Hawks record now stands at 8-4.
The Red Jackets (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Lamar County (Barnesville, GA). The Trojans enter the AA Region 5 contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Lamar County triumphed over Pinecrest Academy (Cumming, GA), 54-26, in a non-league contest.
