DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting South Panola Tigers (Batesville, MS), 7-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, DeSoto Central upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Jaguars host Northpoint Christian (Southaven, MS) to battle the Trojans in a non-league test on Friday, March 26. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 3-1. Northpoint Christian won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Olive Branch (Olive Branch, MS)

With the defeat, South Panola falls to 8-5 on the season. The Tigers host Lafayette (Oxford, MS) to battle the Commodores in a non-league test on Monday, March 22. The Commodores come into the test with a record of 6-6. Lafayette won 5-3 in their recent non-league test against Booneville (Booneville, MS)
