Vincennes Rivet Patriots (Vincennes, IN) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host North Posey Vikings (Poseyville, IN), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Patriots confront the Bloomfield Cardinals (Bloomfield, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 30. Vincennes Rivet will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record.

The Vikings now have a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Forest Park for a Pocket challenge on Tuesday, October 1. North Posey will confront a Rangers team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Evansville Reitz (Evansville, IN). The Rangers record now stands at 6-6.
