Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Boyertown crushes Upper Perkiomen
January 12, 2017: Pennsburg, PA 18073 Boyertown Bears (Boyertown, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Upper Perkiomen Indians (Pennsburg, PA), 57-6 in a league bout.
With the win, Boyertown upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Bears travel to Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic (Drexel Hill, PA) to clash with the Friars in a non-league bout on Sunday, January 15. The Friars go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic won 69-26 in their recent league bout against Little Flower Catholic for Girls (Philadelphia, PA)
Next up, the Indians clash with the Methacton Warriors (Norristown, PA) in a Pioneer bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Upper Perkiomen will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 11-2 record after their 54-29 league win over Phoenixville (Phoenixville, PA).
