December 29, 2018: Havertown, PA 19083 The Walton-Verona Bearcats basketball team (Walton, KY), was nudged 50-49 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Haverford Fords (Havertown, PA)
The Fords now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Garnet Valley for a Central battle on Friday, January 4. Haverford will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 57-23 non-league win over Central Bucks East (Doylestown, PA). The Jaguars record now stands at 7-0.
The Bearcats (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Spencer County (Taylorsville, KY). The Bears come into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record.
