Forest Hills Rangers (Sidman, PA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Central Cambria Red Devils (Ebensburg, PA), 46-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, Forest Hills upgrades its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Bedford (Bedford, PA) to play the Bisons in a Laurel Highlands 1 bout on Wednesday, January 9. The Bisons come into the bout with a record of 5-6. Bedford won 50-31 in their recent league bout against Richland (Johnstown, PA)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Richland Rams (Johnstown, PA) in a Laurel Highlands 1 bout, on Thursday, January 10. Central Cambria will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 69-30 league loss to Bishop Carroll (Ebensburg, PA).
