February 2, 2019: Kirtland, NM 87417 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Kirtland Central Broncos (Kirtland, NM) and the visiting Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM), saw Kirtland Central's basketball squad overcome Aztec by a tally of 62-45.
With the victory, Kirtland Central improves its record to 3-15 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM) to confront the Bobcats in a 4A District 1 challenge on Thursday, February 7. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 6-14. Bloomfield lost 61-56 in their recent league challenge against Miyamura (Gallup, NM)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM) in a 4A District 1 challenge, on Thursday, February 7. Aztec will attempt to improve on its 4-16 season record. The Bengals come into the challenge with a 15-5 record after their 82-43 league win over Shiprock (Shiprock, NM).
