Virginia High School Basketball - Blue Ridge fells Episcopal

December 17, 2016: St. George, VA 22935

Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Episcopal Maroon (Alexandria, VA), 63-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Blue Ridge upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Barons travel to Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC) to play the Quakers in a non-league bout on Sunday, December 18. The Quakers go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Sidwell Friends won 67-52 in their recent non-league bout against Bullis (Potomac, MD)

Next up, the Maroon play the Sanford Warriors (Hockessin, DE) in a non-league game, on Sunday, December 18. Episcopal will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Warriors enter the game with a 1-1 record after their 75-55 non-league loss to Blue Ridge (St. George, VA).
