The Champlain Valley Union Red Hawk (Hinesburg, VT) football edged the host Brattleboro Colonels (Brattleboro, VT), 19-16 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Red Hawk face the Rutland Raiders (Rutland, VT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 30. Champlain Valley Union will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Raiders enter the bout with a 8-1 record after their 46-13 non-league win over Mount Anthony (Bennington, VT).
