Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA) and the visiting Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA), saw Poly's basketball squad hold off Verdugo Hills by a tally of 58-53.

With the victory, Poly improves its record to 14-7 on the campaign. The Parrots travel to North Hollywood (North Hollywood, CA) to confront the Huskies in a East Valley challenge on Wednesday, January 30. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 13-11. North Hollywood lost 80-62 in their recent league challenge against Grant (Van Nuys, CA)

Next up, the Dons confront the Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA) in a East Valley challenge, on Wednesday, January 30. Verdugo Hills will attempt to improve on its 9-14 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 17-6 record after their 58-35 league win over Monroe (North Hills, CA).
