Triplains/Brewster Titans (Brewster, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Wichita County Indians (Leoti, KS), 49-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Triplains/Brewster upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Titans travel to Greeley County (Tribune, KS) to play the Jackrabbits in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 17. The Jackrabbits go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Greeley County won 56-40 in their recent non-league bout against McClave (McClave, CO)

Next up, the Indians play the Logan Trojans (Logan, KS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 14. Wichita County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 52-43 non-league loss to St. Francis (St. Francis, KS).
