Indiana High School Basketball - New Castle nipped by Delta

February 13, 2020: New Castle, IN 47362

The Delta Eagles tipped the host New Castle Trojans basketball team by a final score of 62-57 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 15. Delta will attempt to move on its 13-4 season record. The Patriots enter the game with a 6-12 record after their 47-43 league win over Heritage (Monroeville, IN).

With the defeat, New Castle moves to 8-10 on the year. The Trojans travel to Pendleton Heights (Pendleton, IN) to confront the Arabians in a Hoosier Heritage challenge on Tuesday, February 18. The Arabians come into the challenge with a record of 8-12. Pendleton Heights lost 66-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Fishers (Fishers, IN)
