Wilson Tigers (Florence, SC) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC), 53-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Wilson upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Conway (Conway, SC) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 13. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 0-5. Conway lost 61-5 in their recent non-league bout against Myrtle Beach (Myrtle Beach, SC)

Next up, the Vikings play the Mooresville Blue Devils (Mooresville, NC) in a I-Meck 4A bout, on Friday, December 14. North Mecklenburg will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 41-33 non-league loss to Davie (Mocksville, NC).
