The Marshall County Marshals routed the host Bowling Green Purples softball squad by a count of 10-4 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Marshals (14-10) will now prepare for their battle against Christian County (Hopkinsville, KY). The Colonels go into the non-league battle with a 19-7 record. In their last battle, Christian County nudged Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY), 7-6, in a non-league battle.

The Purples now sport a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Barren County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 10.
