California High School Basketball - Live Oak holds off Forest Lake Christian
December 8, 2018: Live Oak, CA 95993 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Live Oak Lions (Live Oak, CA) and the visiting Forest Lake Christian Falcons (Auburn, CA), saw Live Oak's basketball squad hold off Forest Lake Christian by a tally of 25-24.
With the victory, Live Oak improves its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Hamilton (Hamilton City, CA) to confront the Braves in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 10. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Hamilton won 31-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Colusa (Colusa, CA)
Next up, the Falcons confront the Golden Sierra Grizzlies (Garden Valley, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 11. Forest Lake Christian will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 67-41 non-league loss to Ripon Christian (Ripon, CA).
