Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC) and the host Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC), saw Carolina International's basketball squad overcome Queen's Grant by a tally of 81-72.

With the victory, Carolina International improves its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Bears in a 1A Conference 38 challenge on Saturday, February 12. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 6-16. Bradford Prep 0-0 in their recent league challenge against Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC)
