Utah High School Basketball - Dixie holds off Hurricane
January 15, 2019: St. George, UT 84770 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Dixie Flyers (St. George, UT) and the visiting Hurricane Tigers (Hurricane, UT), saw Dixie's basketball squad hold off Hurricane by a tally of 47-45.
With the victory, Dixie improves its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Flyers travel to Desert Hills (St. George, UT) to confront the Thunder in a 4A Region 9 challenge on Thursday, January 17. The Thunder come into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Desert Hills won 46-42 in their recent league challenge against Snow Canyon (St. George, UT)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Pine View Panthers (St. George, UT) in a 4A Region 9 challenge, on Thursday, January 17. Hurricane will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 48-46 league loss to Canyon View (Cedar City, UT).
