Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC) boosters exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC), 18-7 in a non-league battle.

The Patriots now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Porter Ridge for a Conference 12 battle on Monday, March 25. Independence will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 24-2 league loss to Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 0-5.

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) in a Conference 10 battle, on Tuesday, March 26. St. Stephens will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record.
