Wyoming High School Basketball - East tops Laramie

February 2, 2018: Cheyenne, WY 82001

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the East Thunderbirds (Cheyenne, WY) and the visiting Laramie Plainsmen (Laramie, WY), saw East's basketball squad knock off Laramie by a tally of 82-62.

With the victory, East improves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Campbell County (Gillette, WY) to play the Camels in a 4A East challenge on Friday, February 9. The Camels come into the challenge with a record of 12-5.

Next up, the Plainsmen play the South Bison (Cheyenne, WY) in a 4A East challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Laramie will attempt to improve on its 10-11 season record. The Bison come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 57-44 league loss to Central (Cheyenne, WY).
