The McClintock Chargers basketball team (Tempe, AZ), was overwhelmed 69-24 in Friday's league battle with the host Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ)

The Wolves now possess a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paradise Valley for a 5A Northeast Valley battle on Tuesday, January 28. Desert Mountain will battle a Trojans team coming off a 40-28 league win over North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ). The Trojans record now stands at 8-8.

The Chargers (5-14) will now prepare for their battle against Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ). The Saints come into the 5A Northeast Valley battle with a 6-15 record. In their last battle, Notre Dame Prep was overwhelmed by Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ), 70-27, in a league battle.
