In Friday's league match, the host Palo Alto Vikings football squad scored a close 31-28 victory over the Milpitas Trojans.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Los Gatos Wildcats (Los Gatos, CA) in a De Anza match, on Friday, October 30. Palo Alto will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 6-1 record after their 47-0 league win over Saratoga (Saratoga, CA).
