October 12, 2012: Bellevue, WA 98006 The Newport Knights football team (Bellevue, WA), was beaten 56-28 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Skyline Spartans (Sammamish, WA)
The Spartans (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Issaquah (Issaquah, WA). The Eagles come into the 4A KingCo - Crown challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Issaquah achieved victory over Ballard (Seattle, WA), 49-28, in a league challenge.
The Knights now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Garfield for a 4A KingCo - Crown challenge on Friday, October 19. Newport will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 50-0 league loss to Roosevelt (Seattle, WA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-6.
