In Friday's non-league match, the host Beach Bulldogs basketball team scored a tight 52-51 triumph over the Brantley County Herons.

In their next game, the Bulldogs meet the Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 21. Beach will attempt to improve on its 16-14 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 14-13 record after their 45-43 non-league win over Central (Macon, GA).
