Utah High School Basketball - Red Mesa fells Whitehorse
January 5, 2019: Montezuma Creek, UT 84534 Red Mesa Redskins (Teec Nos Pos, AZ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Whitehorse Raiders (Montezuma Creek, UT), 58-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Red Mesa upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Redskins travel to Red Valley/Cove (Red Valley, AZ) to play the Miners in a 1A North bout on Tuesday, January 8. The Miners go into the bout with a record of 0-9. Red Valley/Cove lost 59-24 in their recent league bout against Fredonia (Fredonia, AZ)
Next up, the Raiders play the Wayne Badgers (Bicknell, UT) in a 1A Region 19 bout, on Friday, January 11. Whitehorse will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Badgers go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 58-49 non-league loss to Bryce Valley (Tropic, UT).
