Virginia High School Basketball - Potomac School holds off Benedictine
December 28, 2018: McLean, VA 22101 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Potomac School Panthers (McLean, VA) and the visiting Benedictine Cadets (Richmond, VA), saw Potomac School's basketball squad hold off Benedictine by a tally of 43-37.
With the victory, Potomac School improves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Trinity Episcopal (Richmond, VA) to confront the Titans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 29. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Trinity Episcopal won 72-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Walsingham Academy (Williamsburg, VA)
Next up, the Cadets confront the Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks (Norfolk, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 2. Benedictine will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Mighty Oaks come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 64-58 non-league loss to Steward (Richmond, VA).
