Nebraska High School Basketball - Omaha Central nudges Burke

Omaha Central Eagles (Omaha, NE) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Burke Bulldogs (Omaha, NE), 67-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Omaha Central upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE) to clash with the Chieftains in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 31. The Chieftains go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Bellevue East won 74-40 in their recent non-league bout against Marian (Omaha, NE)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Marian Crusaders (Omaha, NE) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 30. Burke will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 74-40 non-league loss to Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE).
