Illinois High School Basketball - Herscher knocked off by Bishop McNamara
November 21, 2018: Kankakee, IL 60901 The Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Herscher Tigers to 35 in the Fightin' Irish non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Fightin' Irish now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richwoods for a non-league contest on Friday, November 23. Bishop McNamara will battle a Knights team coming off a 54-39 non-league win over O'Fallon (O'Fallon, IL). The Knights record now stands at 2-0.
The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Manteno (Manteno, IL). The Panthers enter the Interstate Eight contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Manteno ran past St. Anne (St. Anne, IL), 28-26, in a non-league contest.
